Doch nicht zum tauchen geeignet – Apple watch series 2

Eigentlich dachte ich gestern Abend noch,  bis 50m das reicht mir beim tauchen, aber daraus wird nichts !

„Apple Watch Series 2 has a water resistance rating of 50 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that it may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. However, Apple Watch Series 2 should not be used for scuba diving, waterskiing, or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depth.

Also brauche ich mir auch keine Gedanken über die Verbindung zum Flaschensensor machen.

Google Street View goes underwater

Keep dry while being underwater. When they need help taking underwater pictures, just give me a SVII underwater camera and I’ll do the job !

Hopefully more people became aware of the sensitive underwater biosphere and the need of protection.

Magnetic deviation – compass and diving

Magnetic deviation is the error induced in a compass by local magnetic fields, which must be allowed for, along with magnetic declination, if accurate bearings are to be calculated.

So it’s a good idea to hold the compass and the torch in different hands !
